One remembers. One goes and gets.
Cortexa is the memory. Loom is how that memory goes and gets what it does not have. Every number on this page was measured from the running software.
A vault that keeps thinking about its contents
Agents capture what they learn as they work. Cortexa encrypts it, indexes it for keyword and meaning, and keeps working on it after you stop: drawing links, decaying stale confidence, and running 55 tools across 12 curation agents that summarise, critique and prune.
A builder that writes its own connectors
When the vault has nothing on a subject, Loom takes the request in plain language, works out where the data lives, writes the connector, schedules it, and feeds the results back as memory. A connector that breaks is marked and rebuilt rather than silently returning nothing.
Where they meet
- You state a subject in plain language — "track new Tauri releases and what changed in each."
- Loom checks the vault first, so it does not duplicate memory you already have.
- It builds and schedules a connector.
- The results become memory, linked and indexed for every future session.
Numbers, and where they come from
5,610
thoughts captured — counted from the encrypted database this site was written against.
16,443
links between them, counted as distinct pairs. 16,440 of them were drawn by the software rather than by hand.
55
tools in the agent registry, read from the live API.
Recorded runs, not mockups
Each demo is a recording of the real software. Its build fails on any figure that cannot be traced back to the captured run.
Cortexa and Loom together
A gap in the vault, filled by a connector that did not exist that morning.
Cortexa on its own
Capture, connect, recall — what the vault does between sessions.
Loom on its own
A sentence in, a working connector out, on a schedule.
The shape of what you know
The knowledge graph, and how few of its links a person drew.
Links nobody asked for
Connections proposed while the vault sat idle, and which were kept.
One thought, three machines
A thought followed across a relay into another vault.
Checking memory before building
The builder searched the vault first, unprompted.
What this is not
- Sharing is not end-to-end encrypted. Your vault is encrypted on your device and shared content is encrypted at rest on the relay, but a running relay decrypts to fan out to peers. Treat whoever operates it as trusted.
- The curiosity loop needs a human to start it. Cortexa can tell you where its knowledge is thin, but does not yet raise its own questions.
- Connectors break. Loom marks and rebuilds a broken source, which is better than pretending, but it is not the same as never breaking.
- Not yet proven at large-organisation scale. The numbers above are real, and they come from one vault.
